Tyssyth

Tyssyth is a moderately-sized nation located to the north of its rival, Vesadix. Despite being only perhaps a third of the size of Vesadix, Tyssyth’s population is equal to or exceeding the other nation’s (higher population density – more cities, industrialization). Tyssyth’s military focuses on smaller numbers of cohesive, well-trained units fighting together – specifically, they are famed for their crossbowmen, heavy cavalry, pikemen and more recently their small, mobile strike teams.

Tyssyth initiated the war with Vesadix – their small nation was built up and fortified nearly to the limits of their population’s viability. In the hopes of taking large swaths of land from their expansive but scattered neighbor, they invaded but lost a crushing defeat early on – which turned a rout into a lasting war that is still yet to be finished. p. Tyysyth’s colors are red and gold. The country is hilly and mountainous, providing a wealth of metals. Relatively little of the country is still dedicated forestlands, as much has been cut away to build cities, fortresses, and more recently, crossbows for the war effort.
