Small, Northeastern province (colors Purple, Black), highly isolated because surrounded by nearly impassible mountains and because they shun outsiders and merchants. Join the war on Tyssyth’s side when Tyssyth starts losing (due to the PCs); are convinced to join because the king of Tyssyth agreed to supply the corpses of all dead soldiers to them that they could recover without cost, friend and foe. Thanateir needs these because the country has a rigid caste structure: Undead at the bottom, raised by the mages and the only source of the country’s physical fighters (alongside of) Constructs, slightly above undead due to their higher quality but filling the same role; above them arcane halfcasters and partial spellcasters (bards, hexblades, etc. etc.) as well as warlocks; above them arcane full casters (wizards, sorcerers etc. etc.) and draconics (dragonfire adepts, dragon disciples, etc. etc.), and above them Dragons who rule from the shadows. In truth, Thanateir only agreed to join the war for the corpses as well as for the fact that once the war was over, both sides would be suitably weakened so that their secluded nation could take over using the newly amassed army.
